When it comes to Delta Blues, it&hard to think of anyone more gritty and raw than Son House, and "Death Letter Blues" is one of the best examples of his deep, powerful vibe. I love the reckless, percussive way he plays resonator, and his melodies and vocal style are full of emotion and inflection.
