In this poem, he compares his lover with an English summer&day which is considered as one of the most beautiful day in England and concludes that his lover is far beautiful than it. His perception is that the summer&beauty has a time and dims eventually but the beauty of his lover will prevail eternally as it will live as long as this poem lives.
