How to Add Custom Data Labels at Specific Position in Chart JS In this video we will explore how to add custom data labels at specific position in chart js. With the chartjs-plugin-datalabels or the chartjs datalabels plugin you can only position the data labels a few pixel above the bar or line element. This is great but restrictive if you want to place it elsewhere. The solution is to create your own plugin and extract the positioning of the x and y coordinates. Once we have the x and y coordinates we can position our own text exactly where we want it.
