Pontiac Vibe / Toyota Matrix - Recirc Blend Door Actuator, Blower Motor, and Dash Removal Steps

On today&video, we will highlight some of the steps to remove the upper dashboard, and replace the recirc blend door actuator on this 2005 Pontiac Vibe. As the Vibe is essentially a Toyota Matrix, many of the steps here will be the same. WARNING - you will need to fully disable, per Factory Service Manual steps, the SRS/Airbag system! Failure to do this risks injury or death! Note: When I talk about removing the steering column lower panel, I called it a "connector" but I think you&understand I mean the panel itself. Turns out though, to get the recirc blend door it&quite simple - only the upper dash panel needs removal. Once you disable the airbags, it&fairly quick to remove the upper dash, and get full access these parts. I didn&film that removal, as I didn&think it would go so fast. Before I knew it, I was done. So I talk about what it took, and show how it was done. We then replace the recirc door actuator, as well as the blower motor, which turns out had been replaced at some juncture in this car, and was only held on with two of three screws....
