The Honda Jazz is a practical and comfortable supermini that offers a relaxed driving experience. While it may not be the most exciting car to drive, its hybrid powertrain provides excellent fuel economy and low emissions. With its tall, boxy shape, the Jazz prioritizes interior space over style. Yet it has a certain quirky charm, with its smooth lines and curved surfaces. The interior is smartly designed, if a little dull in its color scheme. High quality materials provide a premium feel, and there&plenty of adjustment in the seats and steering wheel. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric motor and battery pack. Together they produce 122hp, delivered to the front wheels via a CVT automatic transmission. Around town, it operates mostly in electric mode, giving a smooth and quiet drive. The seamless switching between electric and petrol power means acceleration is brisk when you need it. Ride comfort is a key strength of the Jazz. Its suspension soaks up bumps and potholes with ease. Road and wind noise are well suppressed too, helped by the small 16-inch wheels. The light steering and excellent visibility make the Jazz an easy car to drive around town. On the motorway it cruises serenely, with standard adaptive cruise control taking the strain out of long journeys. Through corners, the Jazz leans heavily in a predictable but uninspiring way.
