Amrit Stein Tibetan Songs of Love and Compassion This CD offers a precious collection of traditional wisdom-songs of the Dakinis, Yogis and Spiritual Masters of Tibet. One of the highlights is the devotional song by Lama Tharchin Rinpoche to the magical intonations of the horse head violin. Amrit Stein arranged this album based upon her many years of extensive practice of Tibetan Buddhism. With her sensitive interpretations of the profound and precious texts and mantras she guides the listener through the many-facets of a rich and enchanting musical journey accompanied by ritual drums, dulcimer, bamboo flute and sitar.
