The original Street Fighter Arcade Game was not widely played or known. Street Fighter didn&become a household name until Street Fighter 2. That game ended up in every house and eventually on every TV as a terrible movie with Jean Claude Van-Damm. (Who I love as an actor but not in that garbage movie) Go check out Street Fighter 2 Black Belt Edition And check out the Street Fighter Playlist Street Fighter 1 the Arcade Game gives you a weird look into where the devs were when they came up with this idea. The most notable thing to point out is that Balrog shows up as "Mike". It should also be known that in the original draft of Street Fighter 2 Balrog was actually called "M Bison" and Bison was called Balrog. The devs realized that M Bison as a Blacl American Boxer might get them sued by Mike Tyson and switched the names. But here in Street Fighter 1 the Arcade Game, he&straight up called Mike. Also the second to the last guy seems to have some aspects of Dhalsim. By the way, when Ryu is throwing his Hadooken can you hear him say Cowabunga? Or is that just me... probably just me. It&worth mentioning that Street Fighter 1 was the first game to bring out special moves, and its not like there was a guide book for this. People found them by accident. Usually while button mashing. It&also worth mentioning that the special moves in this game are SO HARD TO DO. Holy crapola. I am not joking, at all. Go play this game. It&ridiculous. And by ridiculous I mean stupid. As &uck....
