Here&how to play the "Lacrimosa" from Mozart&Requiem in D minor (K. 626) on piano! With this piano sheet music, you can play an accurate piano arrangement of Mozart&beautiful "Lacrimosa". It&a piano version which is not too hard to play, and it sounds fantastic. The Requiem in D minor is the final composition by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791). Since he passed away while he was working on it, he left in unfinished - in fact, only the first 8 measures of the "Lacrimosa" are his original composition. The Requiem was finished in the following months by Austrian composer Franz Xaver Süssmayr, whose version is most commonly used today. As the first lines of the Lacrimosa reveal, it&a rather hartbreaking piece: "Lacrimosa dies illa" translates to "This tearful day". It&certainly one of Mozart&most beautiful compositions - and it makes for a wonderful piano version.
