How and why I live simply and not minimally I’m so happy to share that my book - The Cottage Fairy Companion - is now available for pre-order! To live with minimal things is a fascinating and beautiful trend that I admire greatly. For many of us hoping to create a more simple lifestyle, it’s a wonderful starting point. I think there are many aspects of my lifestyle that emulate this. Such as, I do not wish to have an enormous amount of furniture and love open rooms. However, as an artist and crafter I have many things I use for work and entertainment, as well as a love of antiques. I am a collector of ‘stuff’, and I know many of us are this way. I wish to explore ways of more sustainable practices in regards to what we own and our home decor, in which we can continue to do what we love and consume consciously. We will tour some of my antique collection, repurposed furniture, and other ways I decorate on a budget. A thorough garden and cottage tour will be coming in the future!...
