Panasonic HC-X1500 / HC-X2000 Video Test (including Extreme Low Light) I recently got the Panasonic HC-X1500 primarily because of the built-in streaming capabilites. All you need is this camera and a cell phone (for 4G signal), and you got yourself a great portable streaming rig! :) However, the camera is quite capable in other respects as well. It has amazing optical image stabilization, and the zoom is out of this world! Handheld at 600 mm is no problem at all, and I didn&go out of my way to hold it steady either. Everything in this video was filmed handheld in 4k 50p. The 50p-part was a mistake, as I meant to shoot in 25p, but I didn&catch my error before it was too late. I&still not completely comfortable with the menu system in this camera, so it&still not second nature to check all settings like I do on my Canons. I think that the video quality the camera produces is really nice in good lighting conditions. When used in low light, the small sensor reveals itself, and the image gets grainy very quickly. It would probably be alright filming a stage with lights on the performers, but in my "extreme" low light test in my home theater room the Canon 90D bested it easily. And the 90D isn&exactly known to be a low light beast either. But as expected, bigger sensors are the way to go for low light situations! I would say that a Gain level of right about +10db is the max I would consider ever using with the HC-X1500. 00:00 - Outside footage, 4k 50p 02:13 - Extreme Low...
