"Batti, batti, o bel Masetto" Freni was always a wonderful singer with great diction and a delightful stage presence. She was also a fastidious artist and a perfectionist with her work. She was very selective with the roles she interpreted, always taking plenty of time to learn each role very well. She always performed with excellent technique and superb breath control.
