If you are using the Windows Store version of the launcher you may need to manually navigate to the file located typically C:Users[USER]DocumentsCurseMinecraftInstallgame OR C:Users[USER]AppDataLocalPackagesMicrosoft.4297127D64EC6_8wekyb3d8bbweLocalCacheLocalgame They keep updating the launcher so you might have to check a few places You may also need to search for javacheck.jar on your entire pc if that doesn&work. Launching the game failed! "Your Java Runtime is incompatible. Please edit your installation to use the bundled Java Runtime. Name: Java version mismatch Simple solution to this error, you will probably have to re-do it every time Minecraft launcher updates.
