TK TK100W Digital Wood Moisture Meter

Video Transcript: Hi everyone, today I&going to show you how to use this digital moisture meter, it is from TK and the model number is TK100W. This is actually a wood moisture meter, but it doesn&measure hardwood, it measures anything in cut into small pieces or powdered. So for example sawdust, wood fibers, or anything like that. So as you can see, this meter only comes with three buttons. The middle button is the ON button, so lets turn that on. And you will automatically get a back light, this is perfect if you&measuring in night time or just in darker surroundings. So I&just going to go ahead and apply some moisture to it, and see how this reacts. As you can see, you will get a reading instantly. So lets start with the button on the right, it is the Hold button, if you press that, you will actually get a maximum function. What this does, it shows you the maximum reading in real time, so basically anything above this number is going to show. To go back to normal, just press that again, and you&back to normal. The last function is the Zero function, also known as the Tare function. I&pretty sure you&familiar with this, it&basically anything that resets to zero, for example now it resets to zero, and anything above this is going to add to the previous reading, so before it was 9.4 I believe.
