Simplex Fire Alarm Code 3

This school was originally built in 1956 with a Reiter, manual pull rod fire alarm system that used 10 inch manual trip bells for the signaling devices. Sometime in the 1980&the old manual pull rod system was upgraded and automated with a Simplex 4002 fire alarm system that uses horns and strobe lights for the signaling devices. When the system is activated, either by the pull rod or Simplex pull stations, it signals code 3 over the horns and strobe lights.
