Learn how to make your own DIY MAC Fix Plus / Model in a Bottle dupe for a fraction of the price! This DIY recipe was made by a cosmetic chemist (my mother) so it&extremely close to the real thing ♡ Like + Subscribe for more DIYs ♡ Find me on Twitter and Instagram @VasseurBeauty!! : : M A T E R I A L S N E E D E D : : Filtered or distilled water *if you are vegetarian/vegan look for vegetable glycerin The cost for all of the materials is between $6-$18, depending on the toner you buy, organic vs drugstore. These materials will last you for multiple refills & based on the amount used each 3oz bottle costs around $3-$5 :) : : R E C I P E : : 1 -- Add one Part Filtered water 2 -- Add one Part Alcohol Free Chamomile Toner 3 -- Add 6-20 drops of Glycerin. I recommend 6-10 drops for those with oily skin, 10-15 for those with normal skin and 15-20 for those with dry skin. Experiment with the amount of glycerin until it gives you the "sheen" effect that you desire, it&best to start low and add more as needed You can use this spray to finish/refresh your makeup -- it helps it look like it&come back to life. Also, you can apply this to your makeup brushes to enhance the pigmentation of eye shadows. : : M O R E D E T A I L : : Spray bottle I found from Bed Bath and Beyond was only $.99 and also emits a very fine mist, which is similar to the mac fix plus container Pure glycerin -- you can pick this up from the drugstore for a couple dollars.
