The body has been crafted from Nato wood with Ebony stringers that then has an AAA Quilted Maple Veneer over the top, the neck is made from Maple and houses an Ebony fretboard with small white pearloid diamonds as fret markers. The pick-ups on the Mockingbird ST are in fact Rockfield Mafia Open Coil Humbuckers and are controlled by a variety of knobs and switches to optimise tone and frequency options. Firstly, each pick-up has its own volume control - tone is controlled from a single master tone knob, there is then a variety of toggle switches - 3 x mini switches for pick-up coil tap and reverse phase options, plus a 5 way Varitone filter. A 3 way standard toggle switch is used to select pick-up activation and configuration ...
