Malaguena Ukulele fingerstyle tutorial

Malagueña - Traditional melody from Málaga Arranged for ukulele by David van Ooijen (2023) Malagueña is a traditional flamenco piece from Málaga. Those of you that grew up playing guitar - like me - will immediately recognize Daniel Fortea as my source of inspiration. I loved playing his pieces as a little guitar boy. As a little guitar boy I also went to many concerts, and I was lucky enough to see Los Romeros perform. One of their show pieces was a Malagueña, where each of the Romeros would play a solo while the others played the main theme. So it&only fitting that I play my Malagueña on a ukulele from Pepe Romero Jr, who is Pepe Romero Sr&nephew. .
