NEW 2024 MAZDA CX-5: PREVIEW, PRICING, RELEASE DATE

_automagzTV_ With the Mazda CX-5 being a part of the second generation that was introduced in 2017, rumors speculate that the model could be dropped. Since Mazda introduced the CX-50, there’s competition within the automaker’s lineup of compact SUVs. Mazda also did something similar with the CX-3 when the CX-30 arrived. While CX-5 could be discontinued, nothing has been confirmed yet. If the CX-5 does return for 2024, we expect it to be a carryover model. The exterior design of the 2024 CX-5 is expected to stay the same as the current model that’s on sale. The SUV features a curvy, sporty design that makes it look upscale. At the front, the CX-5 has slim headlights that lead directly into a shield-shaped grille. The smooth front fascia has a slim rectangular air intake. Along the sides, the CX-5 has slim body cladding, a prominent body line that connects the headlights to the taillights, and a modest rear spoiler. The rear end of the SUV features triangular taillights, dual exhaust outlets, and a rounded liftgate. The interior design of the current CX-5 errs toward being upscale. We don’t expect to see any changes for 2024. The dashboard has a simple design that rises upward as it reaches the instrument cluster. The central display is positioned on top of the dash and sits above squared-off air vents. The physical controls for the HVAC system are placed low down on the center console for ease of use.
