Fix for no display on Monitor | HDMI to DVI | No Connection Check Signal Cable error |

My laptop has a HDMI port and monitor has DVI-D, Display Port and VGI ports. I wanted to connect monitor with laptop using HDMI to DVI cable. I bought HDMI to DVI bi-directional cable. After connecting no display was observed on the monitor. I tried all the tips available on the internet like updating graphics drivers, connecting additinal printer cable..etc. But nothing was worked out for me. Finally I got the fix for this issue..
