Renault Megane 2 air mass flow sensor problems, how to fix When you suddenly start to losing power and your acceleration feels like it is very slow and delayed, most probably first thing in your mind might be something is wrong with engine, ECU or other major and costly thing! So here is a common problem which cost less than $7 to fix and you can do it yourself! Symptoms in my case: when Summer came and temperatures raised, I started to noticed that my car didnt accelerate good at all and it felt that turbo is just not kicking on, as well I even once got check engine light! Problems with injector or something like that; Lately it even didnt matter if it was summer or winter, all I needed to do, just to idle for a few minutes or get in the traffic jam, after a bit of idling car didnt accelerate good at all! When you press acceleration, it kind a feels like it is not going from 1-60 in 15s, but in 40s and if you ever have had issues with air/fuel mix problems, you might get the feeling that there is an issue! So I read online that if you buy replacement Air mass flow sensor, do not buy aftermarket ones, but original one, so I looked online and kinda original cost approximately $140, after market cost ~$60, so I thought maybe there is a better solution! And I noticed that you can get air mass sensor cleaners for price under $10, and what I know from my experience, if you can fix original part, better try it before replacing it!!
