The NBA was transformed by MJ revolutionizing the dominance of the back court players, the worldwide appeal of basketball and the NBA started with Michael Jordan. His choice to have a dedicated shoe brand rather than being just another Nike shoe exponentially transformed his wealth and continues to do so post basketball. When we talk wealthy NBA players MJ definitely stands out as the GOAT. When you make millions playing, and billions post basketball you need to buy a few toys, and MJ is no different.
