FUZZRITE CLONE

Messing with the depth control, and then at the end showing how it responds to guitar volume knob changes. Can sound pretty cool with volume at about 75%. This handsome spectacle is a clone of the Fuzzrite, one of the most gnarliest fuzz pedals ever produced. Google it. Alas it is not available in its original form but you can buy it here in it&cloned form. I don&normally do the pedal clone thing but this fuzz is gnarly and reinventing this sort of thing isn&really my deal. There are two controls - depth and volume. Depth is actually sort of a blend control between the two fuzz stages in the design. When you turn it up it gets fuzzier, but in between it does some weird stuff including some strange cancellation stuff in the middle somewhere. It&housed in a UFO ready to take off or something. I went through a bunch of transistors to find the most gnarliest combo. The combo that ripped my face off most completely were new old stock metal can transistors salvaged from a TV repair shop going out of business in the mid 90&when I was a mere lad only curious about electronics. I have no idea how old the transistors are, but my guess is from the 70&or 80's. True bypass switch. Runs on a 9V battery. No LED because you don&need that kind of thing because you are tough. The original fuzzrite didn&have an LED. Why do you need one huh? That&what I thought. Just make sure to unplug it when you are done ok? The camera was compressing the audio so it appears to get quieter as you...
