After being drafted into the U.S. Army, 24-year-old Elvis Presley met Priscilla Beaulieu in 1959 when he was stationed in Germany. Priscilla was only 14 years old at the time. A few years later, when Priscilla was still a teenager, she moved to Memphis to be near Elvis, on the pretense of living with his father and stepmother. The two were married in 1967, and their daughter Lisa Marie was born 9 months later. Elvis and Priscilla had a turbulent relationship, riddled with rumored affairs on both sides, and the two formally separated in 1972.
