Manually Upgrade UniFi Firmware - Applicable for UniFi AP and Switch

In today&episode "Manually Upgrade UniFi Firmware - Applicable for UniFi AP and Switch". The idea of this video came when i tried to add UniFi Access Point LR to my Dream Machine. I adopted the Access Point but no matter how many times i tried to upgrade the UAP-LR the firmware version was remaining the same and the upgrade icon was constantly on the Access Point. Steps for upgrading Access Point manually : 1) Search Google for UniFi Firmware 2) Go to downloads and download the correct firmware for your device 3) Rename the file to firmware file.bin 4) Transfer the firmware file from your mac to Access Point using SCP Command : scp /foldername/firmwarefile.bin user@IP-of-UAP-or-Switch:/tmp/fwupdate.bin If the above command does not work please try : scp -O /foldername/firmwarefile.bin user@IP-of-UAP-or-Switch:/tmp/fwupdate.bin 5) Connect to UniFi Access Point through ssh : ssh admin@IP-of-UAP-or-Switch 6) Use the following Command to initiate a local upgrade : syswrapper.sh upgrade2 & Poseidwn Tech on Social Media:
