Space Shuttle Mission 2007 - STS-1 Part 1

Part 1 of the first ever Space Shuttle mission carried out by Columbia on April 12, 1981. I had to break this video down to 3 parts due to the length of the shuttle mission. This video will cover the pre-launch procedures and the launch that will take the shuttle outside the Earth&atmosphere into space. Actual audio and video footage is added in of the actual STS-1 mission starting after the last hold at -TM 0900.
