Toyota Intelligent Parking Assist self-parking system in the C-HR

Before we dropped back the Toyota C-HR last week, we decided to get a quick video in on their Intelligent Park Assist self-parking system. We don&always trust this technology, and it can feel very strange when you use it. In this video, Daragh Ó Tuama was parking between two Lexus vehicles - so he was a little on edge as to whether or not he was about to crash into one of them! Unfortunately, we only had a couple of minutes to create this video, so we have no exterior shots of the self-parking system in action. There’s no doubting it though, the intelligence of this technology in any car that has it is astounding. This system and other systems like it, show just how much closer that we’re getting to autonomous driving.
