Introducing the 2024 Kia EV9: A New Benchmark in the Electric SUV Segment The all-electric 2024 Kia EV9, revealed at the 2023 New York International Auto Show, represents a milestone as Kia&first three-row electric SUV. The EV9 showcases Kia&commitment to innovation and electrification, merging the brand&expertise in design and electric vehicles. Built on the E-GMP platform with fourth-generation battery technology, the EV9 offers seating for up to seven passengers, generous cargo space, and ultrafast charging capabilities. The 800V electrical architecture allows for a recharge from 10 to 80 percent in under 25 minutes on high-speed DC chargers. The EV9 is expected to arrive in the United States in Q4 2023. The exterior design of the EV9 is a testament to simplicity and sophistication, featuring a muscular stance, dynamic character lines, and Kia&signature Tiger Face. The EV9 is slightly larger than the Telluride SUV, offering a spacious and flexible interior with available features such as power-adjustable second-row seats, heating and ventilation, and plenty of legroom. Under the hood, the EV9 offers two powertrain options, a standard 76.1-kWh battery with a 160-kW motor, and an optional 99.8-kWh battery with either a single-motor or a dual-motor AWD configuration.
