Macros allow you to extend the capabilities of the MM711 and MM710 mice. Both mice can have a macro assigned to the buttons on the device using the MasterPlus software. Macros can be made for the MM711 and MM710 using the MasterPlus software. The MasterPlus software has a dedicated macro menu. The macro menu is separated into two panels, one on either side. The left side allows you to name and create macros. Here you can also import and export existing macros, or select the macro that you want to edit. The right side of the menu is where the macro script is created and edited. Making the macro will require you to press the red record button. Once the recording has started all keystrokes and mouse inputs will be added to the macro. There are three modes that control how the macro playback will function; run once, hold loop, toggle loop. The run once option will play the entire macro a single time when activated. The hold loop playback option will play the macro on a loop while the selected macro key is being held. Once the key is released the macro will stop playing. Toggle loop will also loop the macro, however the selected macro button will work as an on and off switch. Pressing the assigned macro key once will start the macro on a loop, and pressing it a second time will stop the macro.
