Armenian Folk Songs Arrangement for piano Stepan Naghdyan Piano : Armine Naghdyan Stepan Naghdyan (1921-1988) Stephan Naghdian is one of the Armenian best miniatures. He left an excellent trio for the chamber music being performed in many countries of the world. His miniatures for piano, violin and violoncello, the vocal works for children are involved in many collections and are used as training material for children’s music school of Armenia. There he worked until the end of his life and educated many generations of musicians. Life and Creative Work He was born in 1921 in Georgia, died in Yerevan in 1988. In 1950 he graduated from the Yerevan Conservatoire, the class of compositions after V. Talian and E. Mirzoian.
