Two different Festool Carvex II PS420&cutting through a 102x200mm piece of Pine with Festools S 145/4 FSG jigsaw blade. This blade is supposed to have a maximum workpiece thickness of 120mm. If we take into account the 223,73 Euro for the Festool Spark Trap for dust extractor, the Carvex II PS420 comes to a total of (324+223,73=) 547,73 Euro (current prices 2012-10-06) That makes the Carvex PS420 the most expensive jigsaw (that we&tested) by far, giving us the least bang for our buck!
