2022 Lifan KPX 250 - Interstate speeds on a stock Chinese bike

Bike recording has a 14t sprocket and other bike is bone stock. both achieved 75mph per GPS on the phone. 13T to 14T front sprocket change; Went riding with a buddy running stock gearing. Honestly can say there isn&much top end left in these (at least not just because of gearing). It will reduce your revs on the highway, but you&still gonna top out 75-76 mph. I do like first gear now, and will be able to ride around trails in first gear instead of always feeling like I have to shift. Also double checked with phone GPS. Top speed 76. Stock bike kept up without issue. My opinion? Worth it if you are traveling at higher speeds a lot just to keep the rpms down, but not a big game changer for top speed like some of the other Chinese bikes. Now if you can squeeze a few more HP out of this engine this sprocket may be the ticket to a comfy 80 mph ride.
