Fender Smolder Acoustic OD Demo

This is the Fender Smolder, an overdrive pedal made specifically for acoustic guitars. Took me a little while to tweak the knobs into a good place. I put off getting the Smolder for a long time because I was skeptical it would work. My guitar (a Yamaha travel-size) is dispiritingly susceptible to feedback (indeed, you may have noticed I have the pickup compression turned almost to maximum), but it works, and I think it sounds pretty darn good! I¬ a very technical guitarist (this whole thing is just A-minor pentatonic; the proverbial "My First Guitar Scale") but I think it just goes to show how much fun there is to be had with this pedal even if you only have a few tools in your bag. The stuff in the background: My friend let me borrow his drum machine for the beat, then there&some chords and a "fake" bass line (I played the part on my guitar and then lowered the pitch by an octave in Audacity).
