Emika explains, "&Hours&is my original. &Me&features Jimmy Edgar, his voice, singing, musical style/twist and sound signature. he worked on &Me&on his own using my vocal also and transformed it into a suitably challenging pop song. Together they make a package which pokes fun at &and &music. For me, both these worlds of music are inextricably linked, and one would not exist without the other, ultimately making them the same thing. A bunch of musicians all working on making their own capitalist success by reaching as many people as they can through music...Jimmy took a playful approach to the visual, we made it together in our agent&bedroom in Berlin."
