1/35 Italeri Elco 80 converted to R/C. Test Run.

This is my Italeri 1/35 PT Boat which I converted to R/C. The interior is framed in balsa. The front of the hull is sealed and foam filled. Other compartments are foam filled as well. I had to steer and shoot video at the same time so it looks a bit jerky. The high wind didn&help either! It actually handles quite nicely. Specs: Graupner GR1039 2:1 geared drive with Traxxis Titan motor. Airtronics MX-3 FM surface radio LRP Runner Plus Reverse speed control Reedy 1700 nimh pack Three Hobby Lobby small brass rudders cut down and re-shaped. Power is tuned down via radio to 46% for a more realistic speed.
