This is Majesty 175, the world’s largest composite production mega yacht, and today we review something totally different to what we normally cover, must rate pretty highly on your wish list. Hitting the water in late November 2020 following a demanding and complex four-year build – initially started on rumour – the first 54.37-metre Majesty 175 from Gulf Craft, cruised through her maiden sea trials. We take a look inside the superyacht and discover what it is that makes her so distinctive. As Gulf Craft’s biggest and most complex venture to date, and praiseworthy of the title of the flagship, the Majesty 175 is a composite superyacht made from carbon fibre and vinyl ester, with a beam of 9.62 metres. In spite of coming in at 780 Gross Tonnes, she can cruise through 2.25 metres of water thanks to her shallow draft. Springing from the drawing boards of Massimo Gregori from the Tuscany-based Yankee Delta Studio, the Majesty 175 was designed inside and out by Cristiano Gatto Design studio. Founded in 2001 by Cristiano Gatto, former General Manager at the well-known super yacht design studio Nuvolari Lenard, Cristiano Gatto Design studio can be found tucked away in Preganziol, near Treviso in the north of Italy.
