Minelab SDC 2300 "Detection Hole" Discovered - Explanation - Part 7

If the signal is just degraded on a target compared to another detector - it means the target is on the edge of the hole, again caused by single pulse, single channel detectors such as the Whites TDI, Garrett Sea Hunter and this new Minelab SDC 2300. The Garrett ATX and the Minelab GPX series are mult-pulse, multi-channel detectors and do not have the "hole" problem. GPX timings can be an exception however and it can miss targets do to different timing settings...The ATX has 96 frequencies, multiple channels and pulses multiple times - Best bang for the buck!
