Canon Pixma MP495: How to Print a Nozzle Check Test Page

In this video, I show you how to do a test print from a Canon Pixma MP495 series inkjet printer, directly from the machine itself. This means that this method can be used with the PC off, or even if your printer is not connected to anything at all. A nozzle check is a great way to troubleshoot print quality issues with your Canon printer, and check the printer&ability to produce black, cyan, magenta and yellow from the installed PG-510, CL-511, PG-512 or CL-513 black and tri-colour ink cartridges.
