Celestial night is a floribunda rose I planted in year 2019 summer. I planted it in the pot in its first year and then transplant to the ground in my front yard last year fall. It is planted under a big magnolia tree and received about 6 hours of sunlight. So far, I will say it is a relatively healthy rose with blackspot shows up when we have excessive rain season at the bottom of the plant. The bloom looks the best in spring, which is huge and very dark purple color. The heat in the summer turned the bloom into magenta color and a lot smaller size as well. The bloom last relatively long in the bush and with good vase life. Very upright and neat shrub and grow up to 5 feet tall. It responses well to the light pruning after each flush to prompt the repeat. I will say the repeat is relatively slow for me. Hopefully it will get better next year.
