Quick video of my 1989 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. I&upgraded the bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 (DP182) and thought I could make a quicke comparison between the stock pickup and the Dimarzio. The Dimarzio makes the harmonics much easier to get out of the Strat and is pêrfect for overdriven tones. With the Green wire connected to the Switch, the Dimarzio ended up being out of phase with the original Fender middle pickup. As I¬ using that position on a Strat, I have left it as is but this can be easily fixed if the Red and Green wires are swapped. Out of phase sound with distortion gets a tone similar to "Money for Nothing" so some players may like it. No effect, just the guitar and my trusty Marshall MG15 Micro Stack Zakk Wylde edition. Sound and images captured with my iPhone6.
