2023 BYD Song Pro DM-i in-depth Walkaround Introducing the 2023 BYD Song Pro DM-i, also known as the Champion Edition. One of the standout features of this model, compared to the 2022 version, is its revamped front-face design. As a compact SUV, the Song Pro DM-i boasts dimensions of 4738/1860/1710mm, with a 2712mm wheelbase. This makes it 88mm longer and 10mm wider than its predecessor. A recent image released on the Chinese MIIT website reveals an upgraded chrome-plated dotted matrix layout for the front grille interior decoration. Under the hood, the 2023 model is equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder naturally aspirated plug-in hybrid engine, developed by BYD, which generates 81 kW of power. Additionally, it features a drive motor with an output of 145 kW. Although the battery specifications have yet to be announced, it&worth noting that the 2022 model offered two options: lithium iron phosphate Blade batteries with capacities of 8.32 kWh and 18.32 kWh. These battery options provided a pure electric cruising range of 51 km and 110 km, respectively.
