2017 LEXUS LX570 No sound repair fix amplifier location rear seat entertainment system location

2017 LX570 Check all fuses first, The amplifier is located under the driver side front seat, remove 4 bolts to remove the seat, and remove screws holding the amplifier. Check power and ground, If power is good, check to see if fans are turning, If fans are turning, do this next. Go to the passenger side front seat. remove 4 bolts, then remove the seat. unplug the brown plug, then cut two black wires. be sure to mark left and right just in case it doesn&work. each black wire should have two wires, brown and purple. connect the same color .brown to brown, purple to purple. if the entertainment module was the trouble, you should get the sound. replace the module if you care about the monitor. The Highlander has these wires at the drop down monitor, required to remove the monitor
