JBL BassPro HUB - Excursion Test (exposed cone)

My friend got this JBL BassPro HUB spare tire Subwoofer and as we installed it together in his car I had a chance to test it before actually mounting it. This thing is really impressive even outside the car, it gets really deep and very loud (managed to hear 30hz with it) despite having such a tiny enclosure! The driver is rock solid, it has a 10" cone (~25cm), big vented ferrite magnet, wide rubber surround and strong reinforced cone with some weights on it (notice the little metal bars). The driver is actually all-one with the enclosure, which is all made out of solid metal, with only the top "grill" removable. The hole you see on the front is actually the pole vent of the driver&magnet. Microphone can&justice the sound quality, in the real life this thing gets much deeper. Also, I&used a famous bass test, the cone usually moves less, but in the video I maxed out everything just for showing purposes. We powered it up with an old HP 300w server PSU. -𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀-
