Please note. 1. Windows NT 5.0 has a fake shutdown sound. It was used for Windows 2000 build 1946 to 1969. Only Windows NT 5.0 has a Windows NT 4.0 shutdown sound. 2. Windows NT 5.0 used Windows NT 4.0 sounds from build 1515 to 1631. From 1671 to 1835 Windows NT 5.0 has long startup sound but it still uses the Windows NT 4.0 sounds as well. From 1848 to 1911, Windows NT5.0 has finally uses it’s own sounds and also new sounds as well. 3. Windows Whistler has a fake start-up sound and the fake shutdown sound. The fake startup sound was like the reversed Windows 98 shutdown sound effect, Microsoft Entertainment Pack: Puzzle Collection Spring Weekend Clear Level but lower pitch and slow sound effect and reversed Windows 2000 build 1983-2000.
