"Boldly We Will Go Into Battle", also "Bravely We Go Into Battle" (Смело Мы в бой пойдем) — a popular song from the time of the First World War and the Civil War in Russia. In the 1910s, a romance was written by M. Steinberg on the words of Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak "Fragrant clusters of White acacia". During the First World War, a soldier&song appeared "Have you heard, grandfathers, the war has begun ..." After the Revolution of 1917, the song was reworked and two variants appeared: "The March of the White Army", better known by the words "Boldly we will go into battle for Holy Russia" ("Grandfathers heard") and the first Soviet song born from him — "Boldly we will go into battle for the power of the Soviets". Already in 1919, versions of the song were widely known. The version represented here is the Soviet version, also known by its truncated title "For Soviet Power" (За власть советов).
