My Sweet Prince by Placebo. A track which forever reminds me of sealing the deal that I loved this band. Its such a dark track and such a personal track. Since hearing Without You I&Nothing, their superb 1998 album, I was hooked and a true fan. Having watched Placebo at Brixton Academy in London around 3 times and at Lowlands in Holland, I never tire of their sound and seeing the band perform. I first recorded My Sweet Prince on piano in 2009. It was quite an emotional recording for me and I gratefully received some lovely comments on You Tube of it. I never wanted to go back to it in the studio until now for some reason. This time I recorded it on Guitar. So 11 years later, here we all are. I hope you enjoy my take on this dark yet sweet masterpiece.
