Works great, and if you have your trimming tasks organized I&confident that you will be clear of unwanted branches in a matter of minutes. The largest circular wood I cut through was about 5 inches and dry wood. I think it performs better with 3" to 4" wood (dry or green). Can&tell you how long the battery lasts, because I only had to use it ten minutes and got a hellava lotta work done. Way way way better than using manual branch loppers or compact hand saws.
