Wrangler JK Front Axles - Replace Ball Joints and U-Joints (Part 1)

This is the first in a 2-part series on replacing the front ball joints and U-joints in a 2008 Wrangler JK. Part 1(this video) covers the disassembly of the front hub, ball joint and steering knuckle removal as well as the installation of the new ball joints and reassembly of the steering knuckle and tie rod. Part 2 also has an update not included in Part 1 for the Ball Joints. Spoiler alert: the zerk fitting on the bottom ball joint has to be removed once greased and replaced with the cap screw included in the kit.
