Union Pacific #4014 Big Boy: Butler to West Chicago

On 26 July 2019, Union Pacific Big Boy led a special train from Butler Yard outside Milwaukee to the Larry S. Provo Union Pacific Training Center in West Chicago. This was the first time a Big Boy had ever run in the Chicago area and the furthest east a Big Boy had ever run under its own power. Crowds lined the track at every crossing and on the platforms of Metra&UP-W line as the world&largest steam locomotive rolled through the busiest railroad hub in the United States. A couple of Metra commuter trains also made an appearance as the Big Boy rolled west.
