Cubana Ilyushin IL-96-300M Action @ Toronto Pearson Int'l May, 2018

IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! Welcome to this video! Well, this is an aircraft that I was always looking forward to see again and here she is! An Ilyushin IL-96-300M, an extremely rare aircraft to see nowadays, with only thirty built and only fifteen left flying, these ones with Cubana who flies three currently, it is an exceptionally rare treat to get. Recently, Cubana has had their Airbus A320&and Airbus A319&return from the lease from Avion Express in Lithuania. Several enthusiasts picked up on this and then asked "what will Cubana continue to fly to Montreal and Toronto?" since these were the two destinations from Cuba that Cubana used these aircraft. Well, Friday we got our answer as an Ilyushin IL-96-300M was subbed on the route and it quickly became apparent that Cubana would be using the Ilyushin to Toronto to sub in for the returned Airbus&the whole weekend. So I took my advantage to capture three of the four planned flights on the Victoria Day long weekend, the fourth one not being filmed due to a cancellation regarding the aircraft crash in Cuba the day before.
