The very popular war time song of the Soviet times "Smuglyanka" (The Dark-skinned Girl) is performed by The Red Army Choir (or the Alexandrov Ensemble). The soloists are Nikolay Abramov and Ivan Savchuk (tenors). This record was made in 1953. Music by A.Novikov, lyrics by Ya. Shvedov (written in 1940). The conductor is Boris Alexandrov.
